In response to feedback received, we have taken the decision to move the live date for the implementation of the Consumer Credit Directive changes from Thursday 13th January to Thursday 20th January 2011. This change is primarily to accommodate and support our partners who are coming out of a peak trading period, using our contingency to make this a smoother implementation. From Thursday 20th January, all new credit applications will need to follow the new processes and we will be unable to administer any applications that do not meet the new process.
You may be aware that new regulations are being adopted by all consumer finance providers. As a valued client, Barclays Partner Finance would like to advise you what these changes will mean to your business.
On the right you will find our client training pack and training guide to the new regulations, which will provide you with important information on the changes and how to process loan applications for your customers.
If you have not already done so, please return the confirmation note in your training pack or you can send us an email by clicking on

Should you have any queries regarding the changes please see the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) on the right or contact your Sales Manager.
